Welcome to New Horizon Recording Studio of Kernersville,
North Carolina! Established in 1988, New Horizon specializes in
digital and analog masters, mastering and digital editing, 24-track
digital, 16-track analog, CD's, demos as well as the ability to
remove lead vocals from CDs and tapes. Visit our price

New Horizon is owned and operated by Mitch Hensdale.
Mitch has had many years of experience being involved with the audio
profession. His strengths include the ability to deal with an assortment
of talents, ages and personalities on a professional level, while
maintaining a friendly manner with his clientele. His vast knowledge
of both up-to-date and old school audio equipment makes him capable
of utlizing any necessary technologies to complete a project.
History
Mitch has been in several different bands throughout his life including
The Attractions
Band. He's played a variety of music including Top 40, Country,
Rock and Roll, Light Jazz, Orchestra, and Symphonic Progressive
Rock. He has been a live sound engineer for more than 25 years working
with many local and national artists. He has composed and arranged
music for studio clients including radio jingles.
Education and Training
Mitch was trained at the North Carolina School of the Arts for Drums
and Percussion. He has studied Orchestral arranging and critical
music listening. In 1980 he attended Central Piedmont Community
College and completed Recording Studio Techniques 1 through 4 with
a 4.0 GPA. At CAT TV 6, Mitch received training on television audio
and how to run in-house cameras. There, he produced and hosted his
own show called Mitch Hensdale's Showcase, an hour long program
featuring various musical groups. Mitch has also received his Masters
in Music and Media Communication.
